Alyse Danielle Battiste was born in Queens, New York in 2000. She began writing at an early age and wrote her first story at age seven. So impressed by her, Founder and CEO of Candalyse Publishing, Miriam L. Jacobs, brought the child’s words to life by publishing her story. The child is also Mrs Jacobs’ granddaughter.
Even more inspirational is that young Alyse said that she wanted to dedicate the proceeds from the sales of her books to help pay for surgeries for her older cousin’s facial reconstructive surgeries.
