Posted by candalyse on October 3, 2008

How to Jump From a Ferris Wheel and Land on Your Feet, Vol. III

The third volume in the inspirational ten volume series, How to Jump From a Ferris Wheel and Land on Your Feet, is complete with inspiring stories of survival over adversity; domestic violence, food addiction, alcohol and substance abuse, physical and emotional adversity, and death. Every story is a masterpiece in its own right.

Amongst the real life stories shared in this volume are ten chapters written by women who have lived and survived extreme adversities. Many of these women have made it their life’s mission to encourage others to heal.

The Foreword was written by Tawana Williams, world renowned Motivational Speaker, Mentor, Life Coach, and Author of Unarmed But Dangerous.

What Is the Solution?

Posted by candalyse on May 23, 2008

The solution to a majority of our problems is quite simple. Think that you can. You might ask, “Tell me this, what good can come from negative thinking?” You’re absolutely right, none.

You probably have been in situations in your life when you pushed and pushed for something you wanted really badly. If it was a car or home, you probably worked extra hours, picked up a second job, sacrificed vacations; whatever it was, you did not let negative thinking keep you from accomplishing your goal. Whenever you reached your goal, you felt like a million dollars. Read the rest of this entry »
