Jason A. Dingus was born in Norton, Virginia, on August 22, 1982, one of two boys, to Newton and Linda Dingus. His mother was dedicated to raising two boys, which at times became a difficult task. His father was a hard working man, and still works today as a Cable Lineman, a job he has had for the past 27 years. Jason’s home was a little town called Pound, Virginia, a place where the population was a little over a thousand people. It was a quiet little town, where the most action seen, was at the local High School football games, on Friday nights.
Jason attended Pound High School, where he graduated in 2001. One of the greatest influences on his writing was his high school Honors English teacher, Pamela Gilmer. She is one of the two influences on Jason’s writing. Read the rest of this entry »
